Ausbildungsort landwirtschaftlicher Betrieb: Tierwohlverständnis der Ausbilder*innen und vermittelte Fertigkeiten zum Treiben von Rindern und Schweinen
In a survey on agricultural training farms in Lower Saxony, trainers were asked regarding their understanding of animal welfare and skills taught to the apprentices for driving cattle and pigs. Based on the results, knowledge about animals’ natural behaviour and practical skills for driving animals should be given a high value in concepts of teaching and learning to promote animal welfare competence.
