Empirische Analyse der regionalen landwirtschaftlichen Bodenmärkte in den neuen Bundesländern
The paper describes how markets for leased land have come into being a nd have developped in the period after unification. The main results a re that markets for leased farmland have developped fastest near the f ormer border between the two German states as well as for arable land in location with favourable farming. Furthermore it explains that dete rminants of land sale prices differs from those of land rents. To illu strate this, cross-section analyses of price determinants for leased a nd for sold farmland, based on the above mentioned data, are presented
