Die amtliche Prüfung von Pflanzenschutzmitteln in der Bundesrepublik Deutschland nach Erlaß des neuen Pflanzenschutzgesetzes

According to the draft of the new crop protection law it will only be allowed in future to distribute and import crop protection products in the Federal Republic of Germany if they are approved by the Biologische Bundesanstalt (BBA) . The present testing of pesticides on voluntary basis will be changed in an obligatory one. The tests of the biological effect will be executed by the BBA in cooperation with the Deutscher Pflanzenschutzdienst. The toxicological properties will be examinated by the Bundesgesundheitsamt. The prepositions communicated in this report must be satisfied before· a pesticide will be admitted to the test according to the draft of an admission order and before a pesticide will be approved in consequence of the draft of the new law for crop protection.
