Beispiele für das Herangehen an ein ökotoxikologisches Monitoring
Das ökotoxikologische (aktive) Monitoring in Verbindung mit der Bestimmung von Pflanzenschutzmittel-Rückständen kann mögliche Wirkungen von Stoffgemischen in Umweltkompartimenten aufzeigen. In der Mehrzahl der Fälle liegt ihre Konzentration auf den Nichtzielflächen, unter Berücksichtigung der guten landwirtschaftlichen Praxis, unter den NOEC-Werten (noobserved- effect concentration). Das ökotoxikologische Monitoring ist kein perfektes Instrument in der Risikobewertung, aber es kann hilfreich sein, um erste Abschätzungen vornehmen zu können. Dieses wird an Hand einzelner Beispiele eines chemisch- ökotoxikologischen Monitorings diskutiert.
Ecotoxicological (active) monitoring in combination with analysis of residues of plant protection products allows to indicate potential effects of mixtures of active substances in various environmental compartments. If plant protection products are applied according to good agricultural practice, their concentration in non-target area is normally below the no-observed- effect concentration. Though ecotoxicological monitoring as a screening is not a perfect tool, it is a first stage of risk assessment and may be very helpful. The paper discusses by various examples how the environmental compartments are studied by ecotoxicological monitoring in combination with chemical monitoring.
