Auswirkung der Schnittfrequenz bei Rotklee auf den Ertrag von Blattmasse, Rohproteingehalt und -ertrag

Fodder legumes have high levels of protein and amino acids content in leaves and thus could make a significant contribution in achieving 100% organic feeding. In addition to the type of fodder legume and the variety, the frequency of cutting can also have an influence. Field trials are carried out at the Thünen Institute of Organic Farming in Trenthorst. First results show that the overall yield decreases with higher frequency of cutting, but for the leaf portion is significantly increased. The target values leaf yield as well as crude protein yield of the leaf mass are at the same level in both utilization systems.
