Modern Animal Disease Diagnostics in Germany : 6. Riemser Diagnostiktage in Greifswald : FLI Press Release 14/2013

Insel Riems, 19 November 2013. On November 21 and 22, recent developments in the field of animal disease diagnostics will be presented at the “6. Riemser Diagnostiktage“ held at the Alfried-Krupp-Wissenschaftskolleg in Greifswald. Scientists and laboratory diagnosticians will report about new methods, current control programs and „exotic“ animal diseases which might occur in Germany over the next years. Furthermore, insights into animal disease diagnostics in Africa and Asia will be provided. The conference is organized jointly every other year by the Friedrich-Loeffler-Institut (FLI) and the Working Group for Veterinary Infection Diagnostics (Arbeitskreis für veterinärmedizinische Infektionsdiagnostik, AVID) of the German Veterinary Medical Society (DVG). This year, approximately 200 participants are expected.
