Eignen sich Erzeugergemeinschaften zur Verbesserung der Vermarktung von Bioprodukten? : Ergebnisse einer empirischen Untersuchung in Berlin-Brandenburg

The problematic financial situation of organic farmers in the area of Berlin-Brandenburg has its reasons in problems of marketing or due to the market itself, which is not yet adequatly developed. By identifying the problems of the market for organic vegetables and meat in Berlin-Brandenburg it is revealed that by now there is no need to establish a new producers cooperative (Erzeugergemeinschaft). the situation on the vegetable market is quite good due to a wholesale dealer in Berlin and its good cooperation to the delivering farmers. There are still a lot of difficulties to overcome regarding the structure of the market. There are two Erzeugergemeinschaften trading organic meat in Berlin-Brandenburg which will improve the situation in the future.
