Pesticide application equipment (PAE) testing is an opportunity available to everyone in the UK.
Suitable Experience, knowledge and premises are a pre-requisite to setting up as a Test Centre and
there is a set process in place for any business or individual wanting to proceed. This includes the
initial set-up procedure for a new Test Centre, the training process for Examiners and the
independent assessment for qualification and certification. The need for confirmation that kit
requirements have been met before the company/individual can start testing. An electronic
reporting system is the only method of recording tests and customers are emailed a certificate when
the test has been completed. Auditing is an important part of the process and are carried out during
their lifetime of testing. Annual update meetings are also available for all Examiners, covering a
range of topics appropriate for all types of PAE.
