Anbausysteme für Silomais zur Optimierung von Unkrautregulierung und Bodenschutz: Auswirkungen auf den Ertrag

Several maize cultivation systems with winter crop cultivation before maize for improving soil protection and weed management have been proven at three sites for two years. Harvesting winter crops before maize sowing has been compared with rolling first crops and following maize without tilling. Maize yields after rolled pure legumes were higher than after rolled mixtures of legumes and cereals. After rolled first crops in pure stands maize yields performed partly comparable with conventional maize cultivation without further soil protection. Harvesting of two crops per year led mostly to higher biomass yields compared to conventional maize systems. Soil protecting cultivation systems require higher management demand.
