Studies on the distribution of γ-globulins and on abnormal globulins from serums of leukotic cattle and sheep

Analyzing fifty-three serums from cattle and sheep suffering from various stages of leukosis all known γ-globulins (γG₂, γG₁, γA, γM) could be detected by immunoelectrophoresis. It was also possible to demonstrate in bovine serums the presence of abnormal proteins (paraproteins) of the γG nature as well as anodically migrating components which reacted distinctly either with rabbit antiserums against γG or with antiserums against γM, respectively.
