This dataset contains the contents of Mg, Al and Cd of various CaCO3-enriched food samples and CaCO3-rich supplements. In addition, the contents of Mg are given for commercially available CaCO3 products that are used as additives (E 170). The element contents were determined by ICP-MS after nitric acid digestion. The dataset also includes information regarding the used method and manufacturer specifications.
