First workshop of the OIE Twinning Network on Viral Haemorrhagic Fevers in West and Central Africa

The first workshop of the World Organisation for Animal Health (OIE) Twinning Network on Viral Haemorrhagic Fevers (VHFs) in West and Central Africa took place on 27 January 2021 as a videoconference. Participants from 11 institutes based in nine countries involved in laboratory twinning joined the discussion to share information on their respective twinning activities and to explore opportunities for collaboration among OIE Members’ networks. [...] The second meeting of this network is scheduled to take place in 2022 in Senegal, as a side event to the Symposium International sur les Maladies Zoonotiques Émergentes et Réémergentes: focus sur les Fièvres Hémorragiques Virales en Afrique organised through the EBO-SURSY Project.
