Workshop on Animal Welfare during Transport

On 25 May ANIT will organise a workshop with the Policy Department B on Animal Welfare during transport. 4 experts will present their reports on the following subjects: Particular welfare needs in animal transport: unweaned animals and pregnant animals, Particular welfare needs in animal transport: aquatic animals, Welfare on sea vessels and criteria for approval of vessel authorisation and practices of animal welfare during transport in the third countries.
