Alte und neue Population von Phytophthora infestans in Deutschland
Isolate von Phytophthora infestans (MONT.) DE BARY wurden auf ihre Zugehörigkeit zur „alten" oder „neuen" Population untersucht. Es zeigte sich, dass seit 1993/1994 eine Verdrängung der alten Population stattfindet; der Vorgang ist jedoch noch nicht abgeschlossen. Alle Isolate des alten Haplotyps Ib gehören zum Paarungstyp Al; sie sind außerdem sensitiv gegenüber dem fungiziden Wirkstoff Metalaxyl. In den Haplotypen Ia und IIa der neuen Population sind beide Paarungstypen zu finden und es gibt sowohl resistente als auch sensitive Stämme gegenüber Metalaxyl. Der Anteil komplexer Pathotypen ist bei den neuen Haplotypen Ia bzw. IIa höher als beim alten Haplotyp Ib.
Isolates of Phytophthora infestans (MONT.) DE BARY were surveyed for their affiliation to the "old" and "new" population. It could be shown, that since 1993/1994 there was a replacement of the old population and this process is not finished yet. All isolates of the old haplotype Ib belang to the mating type A1. In addition, they are sensitive towards the fungicidal active substance Metalaxyl. The haplotypes Ia and IIa of the new population have both mating types and there are resistant as well as sensitive strains towards Metalaxyl. The portion of complex pathotypes was found to be higher in the new haplotypes Ia and IIa than in the old haplotype Ib.
