Die Schiffer-Robinie (Robinia pseudoacacia L.) in Koblenz als Naturdenkmal
Eine 230 Jahre alte Robinie (Robinia pseudoacacia L.) in Koblenz ist seit 87 Jahren als Naturdenkmal geschützt. Von einem etwas entfernt stehenden jüngeren Baum wurde vermutet, dass er aus Wurzelbrut entstanden sein kann. Dies wurde durch eine genetische Analyse bestätigt.
A 230 years old black locust tree (Robinia pseudoacacia L.) in Koblenz was designated as a natural monument 87 years ago. It was assumed that a younger tree locate nearby has developed by root suckers. A genetic analysis has confi rmed this presumption.
