Thomas Mettenleiter elected to Advisory Council of the “European Society for Virology” : FLI Press Release 05/2013

Insel Riems, June 13, 2013. The members of the “European Society for Virology” have elected the President of the Friedrich-Loeffler-Institut, Prof. Dr. Dr. h. c. Thomas C. Mettenleiter, to the international Advisory Council of the Society. The first task of this newly elected Council, which advises the Executive Board on all matters concerning the Society, will be the nomination of candidates for the forthcoming election to the Executive Board. The Advisory Council consists of the chairperson of the Award and Meeting Committee and twelve elected members. The Council members are elected for a term of three years.
