BVD-Ringtest 2006 - ein Beitrag zur Qualitätssicherung in der BVD-Diagnostik

Thirty-eight national and international laboratories, participated in an inter-laboratory comparison trial (ring test) organized by the German National Reference Laboratory for BVD/MD. Identical sets of 29 coded samples (23 sera, 4 ear not ches and 2 cryosections) were provided with a request for the laboratories for testing using antigen, antibody or genome detection methods as diagnostic techniques. The results indicated the high standard of BVD laboratory diagnosis, and the quality of the commercial test kits.
