From the recent findings of BfR expert meeting and research projects we can state: 1) The adverse reaction of the "Magic Nano " sprays is not caused by nanoparticles,2) symptoms and signs of the "Magic Nano" case series were quite similar to the "Waterproofing Spray Syndrome", 3) comparing to other case series substance-specificmeasurements showed no similarity with other spray formulations, 4) particles with diametres <= 10 nm could be carriers for toxic components of the spay's formular, 5) thereforesystematic research on the 10 nm diameter fraction of waterproofing sprays should be implemented and 6) corresponding test strategies should be established before the marketreleasing of "Waterproofing or Sealant Sprays"
