Ergebnisse der Zoonosenerhebung 2006 bei Lebensmitteln (Results of the zoonosis census 2006 for food)

Since its designation in 1996, the National Reference Laboratory for the Epidemiology of Zoonoses is responsible to prepare a yearly German Report on Trends and Sources of Zoonotic Agents for the European Commission. Since June 2004 the second version of the zoonoses directive 2003/99/EG is in force. For the collection of data on zoonoses and identification of trends, questionnaires covering the preceding year are updated at the end of each year and made available on the internet in cooperation with the Federal Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Consumer Protection, and the supreme government authorities of the Laender. This contribution shows the evaluations of the reported investigation of foods sampled under a sampling plan regarding Salmonella, Campylobacter, E.coli (VTEC/STEC) and Listeria monocytogenes.
